Abstract

FME is a powerful tool, but many users only scratch the surface of what it can do. This session highlights practical tips and techniques that can make everyday workflows faster, more reliable, and easier to maintain.

We will cover common challenges such as handling schema changes, managing large datasets, simplifying complex workspaces, and troubleshooting unexpected results. The session will also include small adjustments—like better use of transformers and workspace organization—that can lead to big efficiency gains over time. The focus is on real-world use, not advanced or niche functionality. Attendees will leave with a set of practical improvements they can apply immediately to get more value out of their FME workflows.
